EASTENDERS Ian Beale’s political career will be over before it even starts when he gets on the wrong side of Ruby Allen.
Ruby has been growing increasingly irritated by Ians antics and in an upcoming episode she hatches a plan to sabotage his campaign to become local councillor.

Fans of the BBC One soap know that Rubys patience was recently tested when Ian meddled with Maxs proposal to her at the E20.
Overhearing the lothario’s proposal plans, Ian hatched a plan and made sure everyone would be there to see the action unfold.
And by the time Max got wind of Ians scheme, he had no choice but to propose to Ruby in front of the eager crowd.
Both Max and Ruby were humiliated by the scene, with the bad boy storming out after his girlfriend brutally left him hanging.
Meanwhile, Ian has also been irritating other members of the Square after switching from a foodie career to one in politics.
Ian has launched a bid to become local councillor in EastEnders but things are set to worsen for him as he continues to get on the wrong side of Ruby.
In an upcoming episode, Ruby will grow tired of Ians demands with tensions eventually coming to a head.

Later, Ian tries to gain support from local businesswoman Edith Fletcher, but her ultimatum leaves him in a sticky situation.
In scenes yet to air, Ruby vents to Max about Ian and they decide its about time he was taught a lesson.
As Ian prepares for his campaign presentation, Rubys plan to sabotage it becomes clear and disaster strikes.
But fans will have to tune in to find out what tricks Ruby has up her sleeve.
