JAY Brown has been rekindling with single life following his breakup with his partner Honey Mitchell.
Next week in EastEnders, this brings him straight back to his former flame Lola Pearce as he makes a surprising decision.

Honey Mitchell recently called it quits with Jay
Believing they wanted very different things, mostly due to their age gap, Honey Mitchell decided it was time to call it quits with Jay.
Since then, the character portrayed by Jamie Borthwick has made the most of single life and has benefitted from the support of many other Walford residents – including his ex-girlfriend Lola (played by Danielle Harold).
Coming up on the BBC One soap, Lola and Jay continue to spend time as friends until life in Albert Square leads them to realise the nature of their feelings for one another.
It all begins when Lola, eager to see them patch things up, plans to get Ben Mitchell and Callum Highway talking by helping Vi move out of her house.
She later ropes Jay into her plans before deciding to organise him a surprise birthday party.
Lola is hoping to kill two birds with one stone as she convinces Callum to help her organise the event, in an attempt to push him towards Ben.
But once the latter is thrown into the mix, Jay arrives and states he doesn’t want to celebrate this year… but an unaware Lola moves forward with her plans.
Later on, Ben and Callum are undecided if they should tell Lola that Jay doesn’t want to celebrate his birthday but the gathering goes ahead anyway.
Lola awaits everybody’s arrival at local wine bar Peggy’s, while Alfie Moon botches her plans.
When a stubborn Jay insists he doesn’t want to celebrate his birthday, Ben and Callum feel forced to tell him about Lola’s surprise.
Jay arrives at the party and feigns enthusiasm, while Lola tries to get him to enjoy himself.
Soon enough, she also finds out that he knew about his surprise party and this is followed by a declaration.
In a surprising twist, Jay mentions that Lola was the love of his life.
Both characters were first romantically involved in 2015 and gave their love another shot between 2019 and 2020 – but things ended when she confessed to cheating with Peter Beale.
Could they try again just as Lola Pearce is set for an emotional exit?
