THE Panesar family is on the verge of imploding following Nish’s release from prison.
Next week in EastEnders, father and son go head-to-head when Kheerat makes his stance against the criminal known.
Kheerat Panesar is against his father Nish settling back into the family
Nish was released from prison recently
And his arrival may cause a feud
There’s no room for murderers in the Panesar clan and the businessman portrayed by Jaz Deol deems his father (played by Navin Chowdhry) shouldn’t escape the rule.
Things are tense next week in the BBC One soap as both men struggle to remain civil and Kheerat fails to keep his thoughts to himself.
To make matters worse for the patriarch, both Kheerat and his sister Ash (played by Gurlaine Kaur Garcha) fail to show up for a family lunch.
However, his younger brother Vinny (Shiv Jalota) is supportive of Nish.
In later scenes, Kheerat opens up to his partner Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) about his father and explains that Nish went to prison after murdering somebody that got too close to Suki – could Eve be in danger?
Meanwhile, Nish tries to settle himself back into the family businesses but a series of awkward run-ins lead him straight into a confrontation with Kheerat.
Alone, Nish collapses and Nina panics when she finds out.
But when she arrives, she finds Ash tending to Nish and the pair share some touching words.
Kheerat is later fuming when he realises Stacey knew all about his mother and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) but also about Nish.
Feeling betrayed, Kheerat leaves, despondent to find that Nish has also managed to win Ash round.
Later on, Kheerat makes a huge decision and tells Vinny and Ash why their father was really incarcerated in the first place and all hell breaks loose.
Vinny and Ash confront their father about what Kheerat told them and Nish is silently fuming.
Nish was sentenced to prison in 2002 and his release has been teased since June, 2022, much to Suki’s horror.
Suki (Balvinder Sopal) once confided in Eve, telling her about the abuse she had endured while Nish was still around.
Vinny paid Nish visits in prison after Ravi Gulati manipulated him into seeing his evil father.
