SOAP fans have been hoping to see Linda and Mick Carter reconcile and give their marriage another shot.
Their hopes could continue to grow as Janine Butcher catches them together next week in EastEnders.

Both former spouses have taken on different life routes throughout recent months.
Yet the chemistry between them remains, leaving Janine (played by Charlie Brooks) terrified they could patch things up.
She has turned to drastic measures to drive a wedge between them – but evidently, Mick and Linda (portrayed respectively by Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright) always find a way back to one another.
Coming up on BBC One, Linda is left alone in the Vic on a busy day, while Mick leaves to support Janine at her first baby scan.
Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) decides to step in to help her pal but Mick and Janine soon return.
Linda is then shocked to hear where they’ve been and, alone, Janine relishes in winding Linda up about her pregnancy.
The pub landlady doesn’t put up with Janine’s teasing for very long and, instead, storms off to meet with her Community Payback Officer, Murray.
Meanwhile, a smug Janine is reminded anything can happen to her and her baby – even tragedy.
She heads out alone and has an accident, falling down the stairs at the tube station.
As the events unravel, Sharon reminds Mick to be sensitive around Linda when it comes to his relationship with Janine.
But Linda catches on quick when she spots Janine with the paramedics.
Unfortunately, she’s unable to get hold of Mick as he misplaces his phone in the midst of the football chaos.
Linda takes it upon herself to, instead of waiting for Mick, support Janine despite their differences.
In later scenes, as Janine recovers from her fall, she finds Mick in Albert Square with Linda, unaware of what they could be talking about.
Mick returns to her and Janine immediately confronts him about his whereabouts.
She then states she’s seen him with Linda but he tries to justify his actions.
Sadly for him, he’s floored to have the rug pulled out from under him as Janine makes a huge decision.
What’s next in store for the couple?
