EastEnders hard man Phil Mitchell will learn his fate over his prison sentence next week.
The Walford baddie – played by Steve McFadden – recently learned from his family lawyer Ritchie that he is looking at life in jail over the role he played in Vincent Hubbard’s death three years ago.
Bu when he is told his fate by arch nemesis DCI Samantha Keeble, Phil is presented with a deal.
DCI Keeble suggests he becomes an informant in order to escape life behind bars for Vincent’s death, while giving him Phil will have 24 hours to make a decision.
But when his lawyer Ritchie urges him to take the deal, the villain makes a devastating decision to do otherwise, refusing to grass on anyone.
Upon his refusal, DCI Keeble gives him another week to make up his mind. And although he is not one to give information away, Phil has fallen for Kat Slater. To avoid alarming her, he even told her he only faced a couple of years behind bars.
