EASTENDERS favourite Clair Norris looked completely different from her soap star role as she headed on a night out with the girls.

The London-born actress, 27, sported chic poker-straight locks and a trendy black shirt as she enjoyed cocktails in London’s Canary Wharf.

Clair, who has played EastEnders‘ Bernie Taylor since 2017, flashed a smile for images posted to her Instagram page.

She finished off her stylish look with black trousers and perfectly applied make-up, with a hot pink lip.

The TV personality was seen holding a tropical cocktail with an umbrella as she sat with two pals.

Another image showed another mate joining them as they headed for a second round of drinks.

Earlier in the day, Clair enjoyed an afternoon tea before her “party” night.

Her chic look is a far cry from that of her character Bernie, who often goes make-up free.

Her screen outfit is usually a hoodie or relaxed loungewear rather than a fancy shirt, with her hair ordinarily scraped back.

Meanwhile, Clair took time off the soap last year to film her first Panorama.

The special was about the UK’s obesity problem and saw Clair break down in tears as she revealed she had been bullied over her weight, especially by other children at school.

Clair said: “This is probably where the name-calling would have happened I don’t say it’s bullying that’s my own personal thing.

“I don’t remember specific names, I don’t remember it clearly, but I suppose if it happens every day it just kinda blurs into one. My mum will remember more.”

She then sat down with her mother who said she used to brush off mean comments and thought it was normal to be called “chubby”.

Her mum recalled: “You didn’t even see it as bullying.”
