EASTENDERS star Gillian Taylforth’s ex has been being caught with a handgun on his isolated farm.
David Fairbairn, 67, was found by cops with a revolver, ammunition and stun gun in his office on the remote Hertfordshire property in 2020.

Earlier today, the telly star’s former fiancé pleaded guilty to possessing the items and was also convicted of perverting the course of justice.
He had originally been arrested for a range of charges, including cultivating cannabis and money laundering.
This was in relation to allegations of a cannabis factory operating on his property.
Cambridgeshire Crown Court heard that the deadly weapons had been seized during a police raid on his home.
He had previously claimed that he had found the gun in a nearby speedboat just four days before cops swooped in and believed someone was “plotting” against him.
He also claimed that there had been threats made against him.
This included an incident in 2020 when he was shot in the stomach for confronting gangsters threating to burn down Taylforth’s house.
While on police bail over an alleged cannabis factory at his home, he told friends of death threats aimed at both him and the actress.
One said: “There have been people warning Dave they’ll go after Gillian and burn down her home to get to him.
“Dave wanted it sorted out at a meeting on Sunday evening.
“There were raised voices, an argument and then the gun went off. He’s been a very lucky boy.”
One man was charged with attempted murder over the shooting, after a second man was bailed.
However, a jury ruled that he had perverted the course of justice.
Nathan Rasiah, prosecuting, said that Fairbairn had sown a “false tale” and that both the alleged shooters had suffered over their “unexpected arrrests”.
Fairbairn’s full list of guilty pleas include possession of a firearm while prohibited and possession of ammunition without certification, among others.
He will be sentenced at a later date.
