EASTENDERS favourite Maisie Smith left fans guessing when she posted a picture of her sitting alongside her Strictly Come Dancing partner – but covered up his face.
The 18th series of the popular BBC1 show starts on October 17th with a new line-up of celebrities, including Maisie, ready to compete for the Glitterball trophy.
And with the launch show happening tomorrow night, the flame-haired actress has sent Strictly fans into a tizzy as she teased who she’s been paired up with.
Although fans won’t see who her partner is until the first episode on Saturday, Maisie asked her fans to guess who it could be on her cryptic Instagram Stories’ post.
The TV star shared a behind-the-scenes look at herself and her partner on set in their ballroom looks speaking to camera during the show’s promo shoot.
However, Maisie cleverly edited a big question mark over the pro, leaving Strictly fans guessing.
Captioning the shot, she penned: “So who do you think my partner is…?”.
The 19-year-old has been busy preparing for her upcoming appearance on the dancefloor with a plethora of gym sessions, which she has shared on Instagram.
The star clearly wants to get her hands on the the Glitterball trophy and is taking preparation for Strictly seriously with regular gym sessions.
Maisie is definitely the show’s dark horse this year with her dancing experience.
She has already won Strictly thanks to a cha-cha with Kevin Clifton on the Children In Need special last year and admitted she’s had training in hip hop and street.
Maisie shot to fame paying Bianca Jackson’s daughter Tiffany in EastEnders when she was just five years old.
But the soap star recently admitted that she’s excited to show off her glam side on TV for a change.
She said: “This is the bit I’m most excited about. My character’s look is very much the same and it has been for the last three years.
“It will be quite exciting to now get to look glamorous every single weekend and obviously because of lockdown I haven’t looked good since February. Now I can look good all the time.”
