EASTENDERS star Maisie Williams has proven she’s taken Strictly Come Dancing seriously by posting more pictures from the gym.
The 19-year-old actress is hoping to lift the Glitterball trophy at the end of the new 2020 season and has shared an update of her fitness progress.
“I’m not tensing u are,” she jokingly captioned the gym mirror selfie, which saw her flexing her abs and arms, which were holding dumbbells.
Wearing a Calvin Klein sports bra and grey camouflage sweatpants, Maisie lifted the weights and showed off her hard work.
Maisie, who plays Tiffany Butcher on the British soap, has been preparing for the gruelling Strictly schedule with regular workouts
She has been hitting the gym hard ahead of her appearance. and regularly shares her activity on Instagram Stories to scare off her competition.
The super-fit star often focuses on individual body parts, and one day revealed it was a “quad day.”
It looked like she’s already fully in the Strictly spirit, with the bronzed star posing in front of a sparkly pink hat and various other accessories.
Maisie is definitely a strong contender for this year’s series thanks to her dancing experience.
She has already won Strictly thanks to a cha-cha with Kevin Clifton on the Children In Need special last year and admitted she’s had training in hip hop and street.
However, the whole show could be hanging in the balance as HOAR revealed that it may never make it to air if Britain goes into full lockdown again.
A source explained: “The BBC are fully prepared to axe this series of Strictly if a full lockdown happens.
“They couldn’t even delay the show until early next year because of a number of issues, including them being unable to use their usual studios. While everyone is hopeful it won’t happen, preparations have been made if it does.
“Everyone working on the show has done their utmost to keep it on air and if a local lockdown happens in London, where the studios are, Strictly bosses will ask for special dispensation to see if they can continue.”
