WHITNEY Dean was thrown back into the spotlight in recent scenes aired on BBC One.
But EastEnders viewers were seriously thrown by her casual appearance during last night’s trip to Albert Square.

Viewers of the London-based drama have been accustomed to Whitney’s bold style over the years.
Much like Kat Slater’s iconic leopard print clothing, the character portrayed by Shona McGarty has often been associated with quirky patterns.
However, Whitney seemed to have gone through a serious makeover as she sported a toned down outfit during Thursday’s instalment of the BBC One show.
In recent episodes, she’s even been seen without her flaming red hair, sending fans into a frenzy.
Many viewers took to Twitter with mixed opinions about her change of style.
“Wtf is Whitney wearing?”, one notably questioned as another penned: “I bet Whitney’s clothes are ‘basic’.”
Another commented: “Whitney doesn’t sell basic stuff she just wears it”, which led to one fan writing in agreement: “That jumper she had on was one of the foulest things I’ve ever seen.”
“The jumper, those boots and those diamanté jeans were all pretty shocking separately let alone when put together!!”, another viewer added.
Yet one EastEnders fan cheered for Whitney’s look, recognising it as a throwback.
“Obsessed with Whitney reverting back to her old style, LOVE it”, they wrote and another jumped in: “Whitney’s hair [is] gorgeous today.”
The market trader was seen last night alongside Zack Hudson (played by James Farrar) as she reflects on her love life, months after the arrest of Gray Atkins who murdered her fiancé Kush Kazemi.
Whitney recently mentioned having a family, prompting viewers to predict an upcoming storyline involving children.
“Whitney mentioning wanting kids? Her and Zack have a big story for 2023… looks like she’s going to get pregnant with his baby then”, one viewer speculated.
Another chimed in: “Whitney talking about wanting kids, foreshadowing maybe?”
As mentioned above, Whitney took a break from dating following Kush’s murder in April, 2021.
She had a very brief romance with serial killer Gray before realising he had murdered his first wife, Chantelle.
But could she find love again in the form of freshly single Zack Hudson?
