Emmerdale blunder as Grahams spotted reading a newspaper two and a half YEARS out of date

EAGLE-EYED Emmerdale viewers spotted Graham Foster was reading a newspaper more than two years old in last night’s episode.

The ex-military man is at the heart of a major storyline at the minute, but a basic prop threatened to overshadow the drama.

Viewers flocked to Twitter to voice their surprise at Graham clutching a copy of the Hotten Courier from Thursday June, 15 2017.

One wrote: “But why was he reading a newspaper from over 2 years ago?”

A second posted: “@emmerdale and @ITV Did you mean to have a newspaper dated 15th June 2017, in tonights episode?”

A third shared: “@emmerdale Check out the date on the newspaper! .”

While another said: “Why is Emmerdale using a paper that was printed in 2017 as a prop??? @ITV @emmerdale.”

Viewers were also left fearing for Graham after Kim Tate’s son Jamie spotted him kissing Rhona Goskirk.

Kim is pining for her on/off lover now that his secret romance has put distance between them, and Jamie is forced between keeping quiet or telling reporting what he saw.

Jamie was sitting in his car when he noticed Graham turn up at Rhona’s with a uniform.

The pair shared a short chat on the doorstep, with flirty Graham saying to Rhona: “Ive got a costume.

“Let me in, and I’ll show you.”

He then kissed her on the lips and entered the house, leaving Jamie with a look of shock on his face.

Viewers know Kim has a ruthless streak and are already predicting she will come crashing down on her formerly loyal right hand man.

One fan posted on Twitter: “Well Jamie knows Graham is seeing Rhona. What will he do with this information ? #Emmerdale”

While another shared: “Kims going to lose it when she finds out its Rhona who Graham is seeing…#Emmerdale”

However, a third suggested he can handle himself, saying: “But remember folks, any truth somebody discovers about Graham, he’s more than likely to drop a bombshell about you in return! #Emmerdale”

Graham and Kim have been clashing lately as his romance with the mystery woman has heated up, leaving a jealous Kim out in the cold.

After he spurned her offer of an afternoon in their favourite hotel in Leeds, Kim became aware that Graham has been spending a lot of time texting someone else.

Kim is absolutely convinced that Graham is dating somebody – making it her mission to find out who.

But, after seeing Graham and Andrea exchange some heated words, she jumps to the wrong conclusion and believes theyre secretly sleeping together.

She will be seen confronting Graham before its finally revealed that Rhona is actually his new love interest.

And a furious Graham will round on Kim, telling her that shed better get used to seeing the pair of them together around the village.

When Kim hits back at him, Graham cruelly rips her world apart by revealing that it was her son, Jamie, who gave the police the evidence that saw her jailed.

Kim is crushed by the betrayal. Will Jamie be able to convince her to forgive him?

Kim whos played by Claire King in the ITV soap was released from prison earlier this year and revealed as the true owner of Home Farm.

The feisty blonde was last seen fleeing the village back in 1999 with a baby Jamie after stealing a horse and trying to frame ex-partner Steve Marchant with the crime.

She also stole money which Chris Tate found, leading her to attack him and leave him for dead.

Kim disappeared in a helicopter with her son, so it can be assumed that her crimes eventually caught up with her, with a little help from Jamie.

A scornful Kim will turn on Graham in upcoming scenes airing next week, when she announces a company restructure at Home Farm that sees him demoted.

Smiling at him while she delivers the killer news, Graham manages to keep his composure. For now.

But it looks like the lines have been drawn in the sand for the former lovers. Where will their war end?
