EMMERDALE brothers turned boyfriends Max Parker and Kris Mochrie have stepped up their relationship by moving into their first home together.

The couple, who HOAR revealed were dating back in July, have set up a love nest in an £8,000-a-month penthouse in central Manchester.

Real-life Emmerdale couple Max Parker and Kris Mochrie have stepped up their relationship by moving into a new home together.

Max, who plays Luke Posner in the ITV soap, gave fans a brief glimpse inside their apartment by showing off one of their first purchases – a hallway table – on Instagram with the caption: “#newhome.”

Kris, who appeared as Max’s on-screen sibling Lee, shared the pic to his own account and later posted a view of the morning sky from the same home.

Max and Kris gave fans a sneek peek into their luxury new home on Instagram.
Kris shared the view from their £8,000-a-month penthouse in one of Manchester’s skyscrapers.

The pair’s luxury new pad is housed in a jaw-dropping Manchester skyscraper and boasts a concierge, a roof garden, an “opulent” private dining room and “business gallery.”

The fit duo will also be able to make use of a private pool, gym, yoga studio and sports hall.

Max posed in front of the same view in another social media post that showed paintings waiting to be hung.

A source said: “As first homes go, this is a doozy. Max and Kris are proud and excited to start the next phase of their relationship in style.

“Moving to Manchester works well for them as it’s a central point between Leeds, where Max films Emmerdale, and London, where Kris does a lot of consultancy work. Plus, it’s close to Kris’ native Liverpool.

Max plays Luke Posner on Emmerdale, while Kris portrayed his on-screen brother Lee, who left in October last year after being beaten to death by Robert Sugden.

“It’s a long way from the rural village life of Emmerdale, but they’ve worked hard for what they’ve got.”

Max, 29, opened up about his relationship with Kris, 34, in September after they went public with a romantic holiday to Dubai.

Max and Kris went public on a romantic trip to Dubai after HOAR revealed their romance in July.

He said: “It’s great to meet someone through work and have so many things in common and an understanding of each other’s jobs.

“We didn’t actually share any scenes together on Emmerdale but kept in touch after I left.

“I don’t want to jinx things. Let’s see how it goes.”

Kris, who came out at age 31, left Emmerdale in October last year after his character Lee died from injuries inflicted by Robert Sugden in a revenge attack for raping his sister Victoria.

He previously appeared in Brookside and has worked on and off in hospitality since 2016, including as senior director of hen night favourite The Shankly Hotel in Liverpool, a role that saw him return to screens in BBC series The Grand Party Hotel.

Max joined Emmerdale in August 2019 following a starring role in Casualty.
