EMMERDALE fans are all saying the same thing after Mackenzie Boyd made a shock return to the village.
The schemer – who is played by actor Lawrence Robb in the ITV soap – fled the village weeks ago after ending his relationship with Charity Dingle.
In tonight’s episode he made a shock comeback – with a twist.
It began with his sister Moira kidnapping Charity and abandoning her in the Lake District.
After Moira abandoned her just outside of Penrith, Charity was left wandering country lanes desperately flagging down passing cars.
And in a shocking twist, the car that stopped was driven by Mackenzie.

But it wasn’t Moira responsible for him arriving – it was Vanessa who called him after discovering what Moira had done to her.
Mackenzie convinced her to tell him where she’d left Charity and he went to rescue her.
Charity begged him to stay, telling him: “I’m sorry that I sacked you, or you can find your own, or not.
“And the whole living together thing – well we can talk about that. Just please don’t go abroad. I love you.
“And I know you love me too because you’ve told me that and it’s the truth. So please will you just come home.”
He agreed and took her back to the village and talked her into going to the pub, where he ambushed her and Vanessa about the near kiss.
Charity tried to defend herself while Moira stood watching gleefully from the bar.
But it was Mackenzie who had the last word, ending things for good.
“For the record, just so you know, I really cared for you,” he said.
“If I didn’t bring you back, how else could I have publicly humiliated you?”
With that he walked out and fans were all overjoyed that Charity finally got what was coming to her.
One wrote: “Watch Charity beg Vanessa again in the next 12 hours.”
A second said: “Ugh Charity.”
A third added: “NO CHARITY U DON’T LOVE HIM U DON’T WANT HIM HOME.”
