EMMERDALE fans are convinced Vinny Dingle is setting up Sandra Flaherty.

The scrapyard manager – who is played by actor Bradley Johnson in the ITV soap – was left devastated this week when wife Liv returned from her holiday having been tricked into putting the house up for sale.

Vinny may have realised that Sanda is up to something…

Viewers know her scheming mum Sandra is trying to steal from her daughter.

Sandra has been trying to drive a wedge between the couple for weeks – and tonight it looked like she was getting her way after a furious row between them.

But after all of Sandra’s scheming, it came to nothing.

Vinny went home and didn’t confront Liv – instead he apologised and agreed to move to Spain.

“I was wrong and I’m here to say sorry,” he said as Sandra tried to snipe to cause yet another row.

“I was thinking things through. It just came as a bit of a shock when you said you were thinking about moving to Spain.

“I panicked. But maybe a fresh start is exactly what we need. It could be a good idea.

“The family can visit. Being with you is what makes me happy, being with you is what matters not where we live.”

Liv told him: “We both said things we shouldn’t have said, let’s just move off.”

Sandra tried to hide her fury, insisting the news was “terrific”.

And fans think Vinny has worked out what Sandra is doing and is playing her at her own game.

One wrote: “Ha, in your face Sandra… Liv and Vinny love each other…”

A second said: “Stay strong #Vinny.”
