EMMERDALE fans have demanded that a character NEEDS to make return to our screens as Marlon Dingle continues to struggles in hospital.
Back in March the chef (Mark Charnock) suffered a stroke just minutes after getting engaged to Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry).
While Marlon was looking for the ring to give his new fiancee, he suddenly started feeling very strange.
He was left shocked when he realised that one side of his face had frozen, and then collapsed to the floor.
Marlon was rushed to hospital after his daughter April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) found him, and doctors told Rhona that he had suffered from a serious stroke.
He had been making great progress in hospital, but had a major set back when he chocked on some water while in the care of April.

After the accident, they decided that the best option was to put Marlon back in hospital so he can get the care that he needs.
Nurse Gail Hancock (Elizabeth Boag) had been by Marlon’s side since the devastating accident.
But after Wednesday night’s instalment of the ITV soap, many were left scratching their heads over where she was.
Eagle-eyed fans took to Twitter to share their confusion.
One fan questioned: “Where’s nurse Gail?#Emmerdale.”
Anther pointed out: “A new nurse for Marlon. #Emmerdale.”
On April 25 Elizabeth shared a snap of her as Gail to mark her time on screen.
She wrote: “Bye Gail! Thank you @markcharnock, @ZoeHenry03, all the cast, crew and casting team @emmerdale. Loved every minute.”
Mark, who plays Marlon, replied: “You were wonderful in the part, Liz! Just superb. Xx.”
Last week fans were left in shock after Marlon begged to be taken back to hospital after choking on water.
He was given water by his daughter April tonight after they were left alone together but it went horrendously wrong.
Marlon began to choke on the water and April panicked, screaming for help from Rhona.
The vet managed to get there just in time, but told the youngster that she needs to be careful.
At dinner April was still struggling with what happened with Rhona telling her: “I know that today’s little setback has shaken you but you’re going to be OK.
“These things happen. The hospital taught me what to do when it happens and they are always there to support us.”
As April panicked about what happened, Marlon told her: “It wasn’t your fault.”
April told them: “But you can’t be with him all the time, and what if it happens again or something worse and I’m on my own?
“How are we supposed to live like this?”
She stormed out and Marlon became upset, trying to explain to Rhona that he wanted to go back to hospital until he was better.
