EMMERDALE viewers are disgusted after Jacob Gallagher accused Billy Fletcher of being a paedophile like his abuser Maya.
The teenager – who is played by actor Joe-Warren Plant in the ITV soap – is convinced Billy tried it on with his 18-year-old girlfriend Leanna while he was in Portugal.
Despite Leanna making it clear she hit on Billy – and he was horrified – Jacob decided she was being groomed just like he was with Maya.
Confronting Billy, Jacob said: “Do you like young girls, do you?
“She blames herself – says she came onto you. The minute you knew something was going on you should have stopped training her.”
As Jacob was raging at Billy, Leanna walked in.
“You need to put him straight about us. He virtually called me a paedophile.
“Well it wouldn’t be good for business if that got out, would it?” said Jacob.
Billy told him he’d got it wrong before leaving the shop and Leanna to deal with Jacob.
Jacob claimed he knew from experience that Billy was a paedophile just like his abuser Maya, but Leanna told him he was being stupid.
And fans were disgusted at his threat.
One wrote: “Are kidding me Jacob? You’ve just accused Billy of being a paedophile when he’s done nothing of the sort and you slept with Maya a couple of years ago?! And all over a crush Leanna has on Billy!”
A second said: “Jacob don’t pick a fight with Billy – he’ll slaughter you #Emmerdale.”
Another added: “Eh really Jacob?”
