EMMERDALE fans are disgusted with Chas Dingle after she used mum Faith’s terminal cancer to keep her affair a secret.
The Woolpack bar manager – who is played by actress Lucy Pargeter in the ITV soap – was confronted tonight over
Fans weren’t happy with Chas and Al having an affair
Belle caught the two and confronted them about their affair
Belle was furious and ripped into the pair of them, and warned Chas that she was going to expose her.
“Save your lies for Paddy because I am done,” Belle said.
“Your husband deserves to know the truth.”
Chas then made a shocking decision and told Belle: “You will wreck our lives, our marriage and Eve will lose her dad – or me.
“Paddy has already got too much stress with work and looking after Marlon. Please Belle I am begging you – you cannot tell Paddy.
“Not just for me, but for you, Al and the business. The family will run him out of town for sure for this.”
Chas added: “I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness, or Paddy’s – but if you tell him then my dying mother’s last few months are going to be blighted by all of this.
“And yes, I know it’s my fault and my fault alone, but I will have to live with that for the rest of my life.
“And yes I deserve to be punished but she doesn’t. So I am begging you for her sake please don’t blow everything up.
“Just give me this time with my mum.”
“Using your dying mum as an excuse, it’s unbelievable,” Belle said, disgusted with Chas.
And viewers were sickened with her.
One wrote: “Chas you’re a tramp. Paddy deserves to know the truth and don’t blame your mum dying on cheating because it’s a lame excuse.”
A second said: “Watch them bribe Belle with something that will stop her telling Paddy so they can keep this ridiculous story going for a little longer.”

However by the end of the episode Belle told Chas that if she ended her affair and didn’t speak to Al again, then she wouldn’t tell Paddy.
Chas agreed to accept and walked off ignoring Al.
