EMMERDALE fans are in tears after Cain Dingle admitted he still loves ex Moira Barton.
The warring couple split last year after Moira had an affair with Cain’s secret son Nate Robinson.
It left them bitterly estranged and divorced with them barely being able to be in the same room together.
But in tonight’s episode fans of “Coira” were given hope that all was not lost.
Moira was left fighting for her life last week when Jamie Tate ran her over in a accidental hit and run.
The farmer underwent an operation to repair the catastrophic damage to her liver and save her life.
And tonight it was successful – and thinking Moira was still asleep after surgery Cain snuck into her room to tell her how he feels.
He told her: “I just want to say thank you for hanging in there.
“For the boys’ sake, and for me and all actually. I honestly don’t know what we would have done if we would have lost you.
“So you just concentrate on getting better. That’s an order is that. Right.”
Cain left the hospital but didn’t realise that Moira had heard everything he had said.
As he walked out of the door she opened her eyes – brimming with tears – and smiled.
And now fans are in tears and are completely convinced the couple are going to get back together.
