EMMERDALE fans were left scratching their heads after Ryan Stocks “totally transformed” during his deal with Mackenzie Boyd.
The website builder – played by James Moore in the ITV soap – has started to show a different side to him since living with the village baddie.
At the beginning of last night’s episode Ryan and Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) were chatting in the Café Main Street about how to get rid of their dodgy goods.
They later asked Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) to meet them in The Woolpack to ask if he would be the one to transport the boxes of perfume for them.
As Mack told his pal that he shouldn’t have got himself involved in such a thing, Ryan showed off his more sassy side, trying to negotiate the deal on HIS terms.
Many flocked to Twitter to share their confusion over what’s going on with Ryan at the moment.
One wrote: “So Ryan’s a gangster now yeah ok.”
Meanwhile others are concerned about what trouble he will get into next as second said: “Not liking the direction the producers are taking Ryan in.”
Another tweeted: “I hate what they’re turning Ryan into!”
A fourth added: “Mack is such a bad influence on Ryan.”
Ryan’s mum Charity (Emma Atkins) overheard their conversation and wanted to know what they were all up to.
She followed Mack over to the car and managed to get it out of him as he put the huge boxes of perfume to his boot.
In a shocking twist the two joined forces to try and scare Ryan into not getting himself involved in any dodgy deals ever again.
When Ryan and Matty turned up at the place to meet Mack in the car, Charity jumped out and told them that she had caught Mack and called the police.
A worried Ryan has to confess what he was up to, but was left fuming when he realised it was all a joke to try and teach him a lesson.
Later on in the episode fans were left shocked when Charity and Mack FINALLY had sex after months of sexual tension.
The success of their sneaky plan to scare Ryan ended up with the pair going back to Mack’s house to get down and dirty.
Ryan returned home to chat about what had happened when he realised that Mack had left the shower on.
As he walked back upstairs to turn it off his mum Charity walked down in just a towel saying: “That shower is almost as disgusting as what we just did…”
