After putting up the For Sale signs, David’s ex Leyla reassured him nobody would buy the shop before Christmas.
However, fans were more interested in David’s new buzzcut look.
Taking to Twitter, one said: “Liking David’s new haircut, he just needs to stop whinging…”
Another wrote: “Has David had a haircut since last night?”
A third penned: “David had enough money for a haircut!”
David is struggling financially and dad Eric refuses to help.
He confirmed that he’s spoken to step-son Jacob and decided to sell the house as well as the shop.
Does this mean Matthew is leaving the ITV soap?

David has been getting close to ex Leyla.
Meanwhile, Victoria is over as she lost all trust in him when he put a speeding fine in her name and almost lost her her license.
David and Leyla have a lot of history.
They first got together in 2009 and in 2010 were almost torn apart when David found out about Leyla’s secret son, Jacob, who now considers David as his dad.
More recently David covered for Leyla and tried to get help for her when he discovered her drugs problem.
