EMMERDALE fans have been left stunned as pregnant teen Ameila Spencer decides to leave the village.

Tonight’s Emmerdale episode saw the teen make the decision after her family argued with the Dingles.

Amelia Spencer made a huge decision tonight

The pregnant teen decided to leave the village while chatting to Noah

While her stepson Samson struggles with the idea of becoming a father so early in his life, Lydia Dingle took matters into her own hands in the Yorkshire-based soap.

The character -portrayed by Karen Blick – rushed over to Dan Spencer, Kerry Wyatt and, most importantly, Amelia (played by Daisy Campbell) to try and make things right.

Very quickly, Lydia spoke of getting more involved in the teenager’s pregnancy and helping out financially, ready to take responsibility for Samson’s actions.

Unfortunately, when the Woolpack cleaner managed to get the Spencers, Kerry and her own family under the same roof, things escalated and Amelia walked out.

She then bumped into her love interest Noah Dingle (played by Jack Downham) but Amelia told him she had made a shocking decision.

Tired of the hassle around her pregnancy, Amelia said she’d leave the Dales behind to settle down in London with her half-brother Sean.

Ironically, and according to Amelia, Sean – who left Emmerdale in 2014 – has been eager to see her and catch up.

Noah’s jaw dropped when Amelia broke the news to him and tried to convince her to stay by mentioning her future in college, her midwife appointment and her father Dan.

“He won’t miss me”, Amelia replied, “all I do is stress him out and cost money, I’d do all of them a favour.”

She went a step further by asking Noah to come along with her – until she reminded him they weren’t even a couple.

This prompted the troubled teen to make their relationship official…and Amelia to ask that they leave for London the following day.

“I don’t want to put pressure on you but I’m going whether you’re with me or not”, she asserted.

Fans couldn’t believe their ears, with many taking to Twitter to share their views.

One tweeted: “You’re still going to be pregnant no matter where you are!”

Another wrote: “Amelia running away won’t change the fact you’re pregnant and will give birth whether that’s in the village or somewhere else!”

A third mused: “London? Now? Haha!”

Villagers and viewers alike found out Samson was the father of Amelia’s baby and the revelation sent shockwaves across the Dales and off-screen as many residents had been suspected of fathering the child.

Samson left fans livid when he found out about Amelia’s pregnancy through Noah, seemingly forgetting that his life won’t be the only one to be put on hold.

But will Amelia really leave the village?

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV from 7.30pm.
