EMMERDALE fans are in shock after Leyla Cavanagh overdosed on cocaine and was left fighting for her life in hospital.
The wedding planner – who is played by actress Roxy Shahidi in the ITV soap – was given a free bag of drugs from Callum the dealer tonight for hiding his stash.

But after the stress of finding his drugs after Matty Barton moved them and getting them back to him, Leyla over did it. Literally.
Liam walked in to find Leyla unconscious on the floor, having just been given a bag of cocaine by Callum.
Phoning for an ambulance, Liam told them: “It’s my wife, she’s breathing but she’s unconscious.
“She’s clammy and her pulse is through the roof. Just get here as quickly as you can, I think she might have taken something. Hurry please.”
As he waited for the ambulance, Liam cradled his wife telling her: “You can’t leave me. I can’t go through this again.”
Suzy arrived back in the village to find Leyla being loaded into the back of an ambulance.
Liam blamed her, saying: “First Suzy, now this.”
And at the hospital as Leyla was rushed in, Jacob was being given a tour of the hospital.
Horrified as the doctors said she had had a suspected cocaine overdose, Jacob panicked.
“Mum?” he shouted as Manpreet held him back.
As Liam arrived, Jacob shouted: “I don’t understand, my mum would never take anything.”
But it was clear Liam knew Leyla is a drug addict and later he made a decision.
“There is no excuse,” he told Manpreet.
“Life is precious. Leanna had hers snatched away from her, she had no choice.
“And if Leyla wants to throw hers away over some cheap thrill, that’s up to her, but she’ll do it without me.”
