EMMERDALE’s Arthur Thomas finally confesses to abusing Archie Sharma while Jai is at rehab.
The son of late vicar Ashley Thomas has been bullying Archie and has even forced him to run away from home.
Emmerdale viewers have been left disturbed by the hard-hitting abuse storyline which saw Arthur bully Archie and threaten him into keeping quiet.
Fans will remember that Archie moved to live with dad Jai following the death of his mum Rachel Spencer late last year.
But Arthur didnt take well to the new arrival, and has been taking out his own personal grief for his dad on the young lad.
The dramatic storyline came to a head recently when Arthur got Angelica to join in on the bullying and told Archie his dad hated him.
The schoolboy said: “No one wants you here, your dad’s lying.
“He only brought you here because he doesn’t know what else to do with you. He knows we all hate you. Even he hates you. Everyone else hates you.”
Archie retaliated by slapping Angelica, before leaving the house in the dark to run away from home.
Meanwhile, an angry Jai was quick to accuse Jimmy King of abusing his son after Arthur framed him for bruiseson his skin.
Jai unsurprisingly went on the warpath, threatening to get Jimmy behind bars.
Fans know that Jai has been struggling to cope with the stress of his accusations towards Jimmy, as well as pressure at work, and has turned to cocaine to get him through this tricky time.
Everyone is shocked when Jai arrives home early from rehab in EmmerdaleIn an upcoming episode, while Jai is at rehab for his drug addiction, Laurel receives the news that Sandy Thomas – Arthur’s grandad – has passed away.
The next day, Laurel braces herself to tell the children that Sandy has died.
She’s saddened when Arthur takes the news badly and runs off.
Later, at the graveyard, Jimmy finds Arthur crying at his dad Ashleys grave.
When Jimmy questions him about what hes done, Arthur says that he thinks God is punishing him.
Later, a tearful Arthur breaks down and finally tells his mum that hes responsible for hurting Archie.
Shes stunned but conflicted as to whether she should break the news to the others or keep it a secret to protect her son.
Jimmy receives a text from Laurel and wonders what she and Arthur want to talk about as he heads over to hers.
Back at Mulberry, Laurel and Arthur brace themselves for Jimmys arrival but are shocked when Jai arrives home early from rehab.
Will they tell him the truth and risk him falling off the wagon yet again?
