Paddy convinces Belle to do one last shift at the vets alongside Jamie

Viewers know that Belle is under a lot of strain after betraying her lover Jamie.

Belle made Jamie think she was on his side after he confessed to running over her sister-in-law Moira Barton in a hit and run.

But Jamie was seething when he was arrested after Belle persuaded him to take her to the lake where the evidence was connecting him to the incident.

Next week’s episodes of Emmerdale will see Paddy convince Belle to do one last shift at the vet surgery alongside Jamie.

But the atmosphere soon turns sour, and Belle sneakily switches the contents of two vials of veterinary drugs that Jamie stores in his car.

When Jamie snitches on Belle and tells Paddy what she’s done, Belle is quick to deny the accusations.

But later, she admits what she’s done and quits the job before Paddy has the opportunity to fire her.

Later, it’s revealed that Belle has started hearing Lisa’s voice in her head.

Later, Belle decides to take action.

Could Andrea be in danger?

Later, Jamie puts his plan to get revenge on Belle in motion.

Speaking about how Jamie is becoming more villainous on the soap, Emmerdale star Claire King – who plays Jamie’s mum Kim Tate – told HOAR Online: “He’s embracing his inner Tate and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, let’s face it.

Speaking about Kim’s reaction, she added: “It will be quite scary for her. She could manipulate him when he was softer. And she does like to manipulate people, she pokes bears a lot to get reactions.

“It’s to judge people, to see how they will react and how strong they are going to be in standing up to her – whether she can trample over them, manipulate them or whether they’ll be an adversary like Cain for example.

“It will be a bit of a shock for her to discover that Jamie’s got this tougher side to him.”
