Emmerdale fans know that Paddy has been struggling to cope following his huge parenting blunder – leaving baby Eve alone in the car.

He was mortified when Chas announced his mistake to the pub.

Paddy then began to struggle with crippling anxiety, but kept his battle a secret from Chas for weeks.
