WITH tension brimming and secrets in every corner, living in the Dales can be full of surprises.

Kerry Wyatt and Chloe Harris get another glimpse of just how far some conflicts can go in Emmerdale.

Kerry Wyatt recently found out Chloe Harris was pregnant

But there’s another shocking discovery ahead for her

Both women are shocked to hear a gunshot throughout the Dales – what will they find?

The pair have been at loggerheads about Chloe’s one night stand with Mackenzie Boyd.

In recent scenes of the ITV soap, the shop assistant portrayed by Jessie Elland revealed she spent an evening with the hunk, which resulted in an unwanted pregnancy.

Kerry Wyatt (played by Laura Norton) was shocked by the news and tried to calm Chloe down when she was adamant on holding Mackenzie accountable for discarding her.

To make matters worse, Mack is determined to keep the evening a secret from his partner Charity Dingle as speculation around his secret lover grew among fans of the show.

When Chloe spoke about moving to Leeds, Kerry then took a stand to get her to stay in the eponymous village.

However, in scenes due to air next week, the pair make a mortifying discovery – and it could mean heartbreak for Kerry.

While outside, both women are shocked to hear the crack of a gunshot ring out.

But what will they find?

Unbeknownst to them, an explosive feud could lead to a deadly outcome as Kerry’s partner Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) is confronted by Emmerdale tough man Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).

It all begins when Cain finds Chas’ burner phone after questioning her about her fallout with her son Aaron.

Cain is in disbelief when he finds a string of messages from an unknown number which he decides to call.

His expression darkens when he realises his arch nemesis, Al, is on the other end of the line, believing to be speaking with Chas.

Hatching a plan, Cain manages to lure Cal in a barn, holding him at gunpoint.

A fight soon breaks out between the warring men as their ongoing feud reaches a boiling point.

When their gazes fall upon the shotgun, they fight to reach it and a shotgun blast goes off.

Who gets shot?

Meanwhile, Chas fears the worst when she realises that Cain has found her burner phone.

Frustrated ITV viewers have watched Chas and Al embark on a romantic affair for several months.

The illicit lovers were once caught by Belle Dingle but made her believe they were calling their romance off.

It wasn’t until Aaron Dingle spotted them together on two occasions that Chas realised the jig may be up for her and Al.

Although physical, the love affair slowly developed and both characters realised they were harbouring strong feelings for one another.

Al has promised Chas numerous times he was ready to run away with her – despite accepting to marry Kerry.

Unlike Belle, Aaron and, soon, Cain, Kerry has no clue Al has been cheating on her.

Will she finally find out the truth?

Will Al survive his altercation with Cain?

Could murder be in the cards?

Emmerdale airs from Monday to Friday at 7.30pm on ITV.
