CHARITY Dingle recently terminated a life-threatening ectopic pregnancy and is slowly getting over the ordeal.

But there’s more trouble for the Emmerdale pub landlady as her partner Mackenzie Boyd gets into bed with another woman.

Charity Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd have had to give up on the idea of becoming parents

But Mack is still hellbent on trying again

This leads to a huge disagreement between the two – and Mack finds comfort in another woman

The couple were excited to find out they were going to become parents, just as Charity (portrayed by Emma Atkins) tried to help Amelia Spencer with her own pregnancy.

While a baby seemed like the perfect solution to all their recent relationship problems, their dreams were cut short when they found Charity’s pregnancy was actually ectopic.

In harrowing scenes, the Woolpack landlady had no choice but to terminate the pregnancy, leaving her partner (Lawrence Robb) heartbroken and eager to try for another baby.

Next week, Mack struggles to find a way to tell Charity how he feels about having children and decides to take her to a wellness retreat.

While there, their foray into meditation is a disaster as they laugh when they ditch the session.

The pair then kiss but Charity is worried that they haven’t been intimate since they lost their baby.

Mack sees this as an opportunity to tell her he wants to try for another baby but when Charity storms off, he knows he’s made a mistake.

Later on, Charity calls him out for being insensitive and wanting to try for another baby so soon after her ectopic pregnancy and she drops a bombshell on him – having a baby is off the table.

However, Mackenzie refuses to give up on the idea.

The pair are unable to settle their differences and Charity tells him that if he wants a baby, it’ll have to be with another woman, before urging him to scatter his seed somewhere else.

But when she opens up to his sister Moira, Charity has a change of heart and is intent on fixing things with Mack.

Little does she know that he followed her advice and is in bed with a mysterious woman, seemingly after having cheated on Charity.

A sheepish Mackenzie comes home and is surprised when Charity says she’s not ruling out another baby in the future.

The couple make up but a dark cloud looms over Mackenzie.

Will he tell Charity what happened?

Who is the mystery woman?
