SANDRA Flaherty rocked up to the ITV Dales and asked her daughter Liv for help with her alcohol addiction.
But there’s clearly more to her and Mandy Dingle becomes suspicious of the new Emmerdale resident when some money goes missing.

Estranged from her family for several months on end, with her brother even leaving the eponymous village once she was thrown in prison, Liv Flaherty (played by Isobel Steele) had no clue her mother was planning on visiting her.
Actress Joanne Mitchell was recently seen reprising her role as Sandra Flaherty and her character is set to cause quite the stir.
Liv and her husband Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) were initially reluctant to let her stay with them but the former changed her mind, deciding she couldn’t give up on her mother.
She went as far as to help her find a job in Mandy Dingle’s (Lisa Riley) beauty salon.
While she seemed ready for a fresh start, Sandra’s bad side catches up with her in upcoming scenes of the Yorkshire-based soap.
Next week, Sandra happily takes a tenner tip for herself, unbeknownst to Mandy.
And when she’s asked about the missing money, Sandra knows she will have to tread carefully to avoid being caught.
Sandra arrived in the village claiming she wanted help for her alcohol addiction as Liv managed to tame her own demons.
However, ITV viewers began to suspect something wasn’t right as Sandra was spotted on the phone with a mystery person.
Warily holding the phone, making the most of being alone in Mill Cottage’s Apartment One, Sandra promised the caller to get them money – unaware that Vinny was walking into the room.
More recently, a dangerous man named Terry stormed into Vinny and Liv’s home.
The thug demanded money from Sandra and, without any funds, she let her daughter clear her debt.
As mentioned above, soap fans are convinced Sandra is hiding something and only has eyes for Liv’s fortune.
Could they be on to something?

Or will she be able to steal more money in the near future?
