Now, the businesswoman is set to put daughter Amba in danger by leaving her alone at a carol concert as she flees due to a crippling anxiety attack.

Priya has been on high alert after finding out from doctors that her painful skin grafts aren’t healing due to her not eating properly.

The mother-of-one has been struggling in her recovery after sustaining life-changing burns during the traumatising maze fire last month.

Having been caught under a burning scarecrow, Priya’s back required surgery that has seen her in immense pain and struggling with nightmares.

It’s meant that she has relapsed with her eating disorder as her stress level continues to rise – but is still refusing help from her family.

Trying to keep things normal for Amba, she is set to do her best to attend a carol concert to watch her daughter sing in upcoming scenes.

But while she is watching the concert in the village hall, Priya begins to feel overwhelmed and suffers a horrifying panic attack.

When Rishi is called away from her to fill in for a missing Santa Claus, her panic grows out of control and she stumbles through the crowd, leaving Amba behind.

The businesswoman – who is played by actress Fiona Wade in the ITV soap – was left badly burned in the fire during survival week.

Viewers have watched as Priya has struggled to cope with her injuries – as well as seeing her eating disorder return in distressing scenes.

Meanwhile, Priya’s rarely-seen daughter Amba returned to the soap after years off screen, visiting her mother in hospital.

Amba was dressed in her blue school uniform and coat as she arrived with Rishi, leaving viewers shocked to see her.

Taking to Twitter, one Emmerdale fan wrote: “Hello Amba Heart for the first time in how many years.”

Another added: “There’s no way that’s Amba,” as a third tweeted: “Funk Me is this a new Amber? She’s grown.”
