SARAH Sugden lies to her family next week after meeting up with the sister of her heart donor.
Sarah – who is played by Katie Hill in the ITV soap – has been trying to track down the family of her donor recently after suffering from a health anxiety attack.
Next week, Lydia finds Sarah down in the dumps after meeting her donor’s sister.
Sarah is shocked when Chloe turns up out of the blue and tells Sarah whenever she’s ready to more more about Gemma, her late sister, she can.
Sarah insists she’s ready right now and Chloe shows her a photo of her donor.
When Lydia returns home, Sarah pretends she’s moved on and won’t be seeing Chloe again, before texting her and asking her to meet up the following day.
Later in the week, Sarah is evasive when Noah questions her and slips out to see Chloe.
Chloe asks to give Sarah a bracelet of Gemma’s but Sarah is torn.
She’s won over, however, when she spots the diamonds.
Noah watches from afar, growing upset that Sarah lied to him.
Will he blow Sarah’s cover?
Katie recently told Inside Soap magazine: “I’m so pleased that Emmerdale is revisiting Sarah’s dramatic past.
“Sarah has a very problematic medical history, and doctors have told her that she might have a shortened life.
“So with Leanna dying and Granny Faith’s mystery illness all her fears are definitely heightened… she’s consumed by utter fear.
“Sarah is determined to learn about (her donor family), and I can tell you that she’s really determined.
“Sarah starts investigating things for herself, and she does find someone in the family who agrees to meet her.”
