FAITH Dingle is set to make a bombshell return to Emmerdale this week and cause a confrontation between Cain and Chas over whether she can stay.

Why did Faith Dingle leave?
Faith was last seen in 2019 when she was exiled by Cain and Chas for covering up the fact he had a secret son.
After Nate appeared in the village and slept with Cain’s wife Moira, he dropped the bombshell that Cara Robinson was his mum – and that he was Cain’s long-lost son.
Faith then made the shocking confession that she was involved in covering up the existence of her son’s love child because of “racist” Shadrach Dingle.
She told Cain that Shadrach had violently threatened Cara’s family and forced them to disappear.
After coming clean, Faith then realised she wasn’t welcome anymore in Emmerdale village and headed off in a cab.
Where did Faith Dingle go?
Emmerdale gave no details on where Faith was running off to in 2019 – or whether she intended to return.
But this week, Moira will bump into Faith working as an undertaker complete with her own hearse.
Talking about Faith’s situation, actress Sally Dexter told Metro.co.uk: “She’s had to find work, first she stopped off at the off licence up the road in Hotten with mucky Marilyn!
“Then she did her best to make ends meet and hooked up with this funeral director, had an affair with him and joined the company. She’s been there ever since.”
What do we know about Faith Dingle’s return storyline?
Faith’s return is set to shake things up this week as Cain and Chas lock horns over her comeback.
When Faith begs Cain for her forgiveness, he’s furious and orders her to get out of the house.
However, Chas is stunned to see Faith and argues with Cain over whether she can stay.
Chas decides there’s only one way to sort out the situation – a Dingle court.
Speaking about her return to the show, actress Sally Dexter said: “It’s wonderful to be back in Emmerdale again.
“From the first day, I felt like I was getting a big warm family hug from everyone. It’s a really special show!”
