EMMERDALE star Jonny McPherson has revealed he wants children with girlfriend Natalie J Robb.
The actors – who plays Liam Cavanagh and Moira Barton in the ITV soap – has opened up about his relationship with co-star Natalie after they fell for each other on a work trip.
The pair were thrown together during an Emmerdale charity trip to Lapland last year and realised they had a lot in common.
Just three months into their relationship they took the plunge to move in together during lockdown – and things have gone from strength to strength.
Asked about wanting children, Jonny told the Mirror: “Yes, it’s definitely a possibility.
“But I am so lucky as Natalie and I both love acting and as long as I’m working then I am delighted. I have a fantastic job and Natalie is wonderful, too.”
He added: “We get on so well. We come from quite different backgrounds but we are essentially the same person.
“We are both a pair of big kids. We have exactly the same stupid humour.”
The couple will soon celebrate their first anniversary – and they’re thrilled.
“We are just shy of a year and it’s still early days but we are having a lovely time,” he said.
“There is nowhere to hide during lockdown. It’s a real test of whether you do get on with a person and thankfully we got through with flying colours.
“We hadn’t spent any proper time together until that Lapland trip and we got on like a house on fire.”
