Emmerdale’s Michelle Hardwick takes new baby son Teddy for a walk with wife Kate Brooks

EMMERDALE’S Michelle Hardwick looked every inch a proud new mum as she was snapped walking baby son Edward alongside producer wife Katie Brooks on Monday. 

Wrapped up warm in a bobble hat and scarf, the 44-year-old beamed as she pushed her bundle of joy, born on 9 October and affectionately nicknamed ‘Teddy’, beside Katie.

Settling nicely into motherhood, the couple chatted away and exchanged smiles while walking dog Fred, himself wrapped up in a green dog jacket

Keeping things casual for the outing, the new parents both donned jeans and thick winter coats – with blonde bombshell Michelle sporting a pair of sunglasses. 

The family outing came just weeks after the TV pair announced the birth with a sweet black and white snap of their “handsome little chap” and Michelle. 

“Edward ‘Teddy’ Peter Brooks, we are so in love with you,” wrote the soap actress under the Instagram snap, which also saw her pictured cuddling the little one and gazing lovingly at him.

The pair revealed their IVF journey with their son had been a “rollercoaster of emotions” as they shared personal photos on Wednesday to mark National Fertility Awareness Week. 

Soap actress Michelle gave fans a peek inside their route to parenthood and admitted that while it was difficult, she wouldn’t change it for “the whole world”.

“From the initial injections, to the transfer of Kate’s egg to me, it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions but we wouldn’t change it for the whole world” she wrote. “Teddy, you made it all worthwhile.”

The range of snaps showed the couples first injections right up until the moment they held Teddy in their arms for the first time.

Teddy was welcomed into the world last month

One picture showed the pair crossing their fingers while waiting to transfer Kate’s eggs to Michelle, and another showed them smiling while clutching a positive pregnancy test.

The couple moved in together two years ago and were married in 2019 at Graceland after eloping to America. 

Michelle recently posted a throwback photo of their big day, next to a snap of her baby bump, writing: “What a difference a year makes!

“Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary to my soulmate, best friend and beautiful wife. Here’s to the next chapter Brooksy. We love you so much.”
