Millie decided to change things up a little with her look and headed to the salon.

She shared the end result with her 194k followers on Instagram.

The soap star posed for a mirror selfie, showing off her stunning new look.

Millie opted to keep her blonde locks, but has cut them into a short bob.

In the next Story she quoted former Towie star Gemma Collins.

It said: “A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life.”

Millie confessed: “I did a Gemma.”

Her alter-ego on Coronation Street left Weatherfield last month.

However fans won’t have long to wait until she’s back on our screens – but this time it will be as the Doctor’s 15th companion.

She will be working closely alongside the new Doctor, Sex Education actor Ncuti Gatwa.

Speaking on her new role on Children In Need, Millie said: ”It is a gift of a role, and a dream come true, and I will do everything to try and fill the boots the fellow companions have travelled in before me.

“What better way to do that than being by the fabulous Ncuti Gatwa’s side, I just can’t wait to get started.”

The pair are set to sail the universe as they take on their new roles in 2023.
