GABBY Thomas is over the moon as she gets ready for her wedding with Nicky Milligan.

But the Emmerdale nanny is keeping a massive secret and he’s ready to jeopardise his relationship with his own father Caleb over it.

Nicky and Caleb’s lies unfold this week

What comeuppance will they get from the residents they’ve duped?

1. Father-son feud

Drama comes to a head this week on ITV Gabby (played by Rosie Bentham) and Nicky (Lewis Cope) get ready to walk down the aisle together.

Meanwhile, Caleb continues his plan, happy his only son is distracting everybody with his fake nuptials.

Desperate to save himself from bankruptcy, Caleb (played by Will Ash) rocked up the Dales with every intention of stealing from Kim (Claire King), blaming her for the death of his father Frank.

To do so, Caleb found a way into Kim’s laptop by installing malware on to the device in an attempt to get all of her passwords and clear out her funds.

Kim logs into her bank account unaware that Caleb is also secretly hacking his in way too.

He elatedly discovers the last password he needs to take all her money and gets ready to take his plan to the next level.

Before long, Kim joins Caleb to look over the Stud Farm plans and she asks him to arrange for the architect Adrian to visit.

Caleb soon tells his overwhelmed son Nicky that the goal posts have moved once again – they’ll need to play a longer game to get what they want.

But while Caleb is ready to take things to the next level by introducing Adrian to Kim Tate, Nicky is crumbling under the pressure.

All hell breaks loose for Caleb when he hears that his son Nicky has pulled out of his wedding to Gabby Thomas – and he even punches him.

With tensions at an all-time high, could Nicky finally stand up to his father and give him a piece of his mind?

Could they tear a page from the Tate family book and feud like Jamie once did with Kim Tate herself?

Speaking of which…

What will Kim Tate do to retaliate?

2. Deadly revenge

Following his altercation with Nicky, Caleb tries to save what remains of his plans and tries to get in touch with Adrian to fast track everything.

However, he’s alarmed when he logs in to Kim’s bank accounts to find them all empty.

Soon enough, Caleb’s suave and friendly façade slips when an angry Kim shows up, ready to confront him.

Viewers know about Kim’s murderous past which begs the question – could she retaliate by getting rid of Caleb permanently?

Will Nicky decide to run away from the village?

3. Swift escape

While this remains to be seen, Nicky is left at a loss when his father turns his back on him after punching him in the face.

To make matters worse, Caleb also orders the heartbroken hunk to take the fall when he empties the Home Farm accounts, which he fails to do, as mentioned above.

With his father’s plan turning awry and Gabby Thomas being devastated over his revelation, Nicky could be on Kim Tate’s target line next to his father.

Could this inspire him to make a runner out of the Dales with his real lover Ally (Josh Horrocks)?

Is this the end of the road for Nicky?

Mandy is trying to move on from Paddy Kirk

4. New couple alert

While everything unfolds for Caleb and Nicky, Mandy Dingle could have a new and unexpected love interested – much to her horror.

Paddy Kirk (played by Dominic Brunt) has been focusing on his road to recovery after being put through the wringer mentally, prompting him to put his love life on the back burner.

This week, he prepares to head off on his fishing holiday, amused to find Bear (Joshua Richards) preening his beard.

Unbeknownst to him, his father is harbouring feelings for his ex-wife Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley).

Soon, Bear misreads a conversation with Paddy and thinks he’s got the green light from his son to pursue her.

Later on in Mandy’s salon, Bear finishes receiving his treatment and has a twinkle in his eye as he invites Mandy out for lunch.

At lunch, Mandy is stunned when a hopeful Bear moves in for a kiss.

Could romance be on the cards for them?

Many fans, who have sensed the chemistry between them, are hoping to see Mandy finally move on from Paddy.

But will it actually happen?

What is Charles hiding?

5. Unexpected family reunion

Elsewhere in the eponymous village, Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) has introduced his overbearing mother Claudette (played by Flo Wilson), not expecting her to cause trouble for his partner Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker).

However, it becomes clear that Charles is hiding something from those closest to him when he receives a mysterious phone call.

The following day, Charles warily submits to help Claudette clean the church.

But he is acting distracted and Claudette tries to grab his attention by critiquing his sermons.

The mother-son relationship takes a blow later on when Claudette’s hurt as Charles tells her there’s other places she can go.

However, it’s clear something deeper is troubling him.

In later scenes, Charles is filled with a mixture of dread and annoyance as he makes his way towards the prison.

Charles braces himself outside of the prison as a man walks towards him – and he demands the stranger to stay away from his family.

With multiple members of his family coming out of the woodwork, could the mysterious be another one of Charles’ forgotten relatives?

One could even speculate that, with his mother being out of house and home, forcing Charles to take her in, Claudette may have a troubling link with the stranger… and even be separated from him.

What’s in store for Charles?

Emmerdale airs weeknights from 7.30pm on ITV.
