WEEKS have passed since Fiz Stape tied the knot with Tyrone Dobbs during a surprise Christmas ceremony.

However, a shocking discovery brings her back to the real world in upcoming Coronation Street scenes.

Fiz and Tyrone make a shocking discovery about Hope

How will they react?

Hope has been trying to find out more about her serial killer father

The Underworld machinist portrayed by soap legend Jennie McAlpine has tried to put her past with serial killer John Stape behind her.

Sadly for her, her time with the criminal always seems to creep back up on her, particularly since her daughter Hope (played by Isabella Flanagan) realised who her father was.

In recent months, the twelve-year old schoolgirl has been curious to find out more about John, even admitting to her friend Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) she related to him.

Coming up on ITV, Sam finds Hope in the café listening to her John Stape cassette, which she keeps on her nearly at all times.

Hope explains to a shocked Sam that hearing her late father’s voice helps her get to know him better.

She’s later devastated when, back at home, the tape unspools.

Her stepfather Tyrone (Alan Halsall) flies to the rescue and manages to sort it out.

But he and Fiz are horrified when he presses play and John Stape’s voice fills the room.

Sam explains to them that Hope listens to the tape of her father in an attempt to get to know him.

How will Fiz and Tyrone react?

This wouldn’t be the first time Hope gets caught with a tape of her father.

As Fiz went about her life in the cobbles blissfully unaware of Tyrone’s secret wedding plans, Hope began to speak to the late John Stape.

Sam found her in the midst of her attempt to connect with her father and Hope opened up about how it was her only way to know who he really was.

Fully aware her mother Fiz wouldn’t be happy about how invested she is in John Stape, Hope made Sam promise not to tell a soul.

Could their friendship turn sour as the youngster explains what Hope has been up to?

What will Hope do?

Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.
