Have Chas and Paddy really split up in Emmerdale?
After Paddy caught Chas trying to cheat on him, he suggested they need some space and that – following Debbie’s offer of a break away – she should go on her own.
When Chas agreed that a weekend away would do her good, Paddy told her it should probably be more like weeks.
While Chas gave Paddy the opportunity to ask her to stay, he rejected it.
But the vet looked devastated as Chas drove away with Eve.

Chas spotted an opportunity to flirt with Al when Paddy bailed on their picnic in memory of her late daughter Grace due to work.
But instead of heading off alone, Chas took Al with her and poured her heart out to him.
Chas then propositioned Al, but he turned her down and reminded her she was with Paddy.
Paddy then emerged from behind the wall where they had been talking and revealed he’d heard every word of their conversation.

What has Paddy actor Dominic Brunt said about him and Chas?
Speaking about the tension between his character and Chas, actor Dominic Brunt — who plays Paddy — told Metro.co.uk: “A lot of stuff [is going on], they’re new parents, Paddy’s never done that before but he’s working all the time.
“I think during the lockdown period he’s been keeping the vets running, now he’s keeping the vets running – so he was never really there during the lockdown period and now they’re out of lockdown, he’s not really there.
“And I think there’s been distance for some time and then Chas says: ‘All right then, let’s reconnect, just me and you. Bear will look after the baby and we’ll go and have a picnic’. And Paddy goes ‘oh no, I can’t I’ve got to work again.’
“So I think she’s feeling neglected and ignored and I don’t think Paddy’s giving her worth.”
