HOLLYOAKS have teased a first look at Brooke Hathaway giving birth to her and Ollie Morgan’s baby.
In the images, Brooke – played by Talia Grant – is shown guzzling gas and air as she prepares to give birth.
The scenes will air next week, with the teen’s contractions starting just as the Cunninghams’ Grand Bazaar opens in the village.
In true soap style, Ollie [Aedan Duckworth], will be held up as he races to get to the hospital in time – arriving just as Brooke starts to panic about her labour not going to plan.
With teenager Brooke previously insisting that she is going to give her newborn up for adoption, the birth is bittersweet – with Ollie clearly overjoyed as his partner gives birth to their son.
Ollie has been desperately trying to change Brooke’s mind about the adoption after their plans to have Sienna and Brody raise their child were ruined.
It is not yet known whether Brooke will have a change of heart, but the New Year’s Eve flashforward episode previously showed devastated Ollie taking drugs while on holiday as he cried about missing somebody.
Fans feared at the time that this could mean his terminally ill dad, Luke [Gary Lucy] will pass away, but it could also be about his son.
Actress Talia joined the soap in 2018, becoming the first autistic woman to land a role in a UK drama.
She is the daughter of David and Carrie Grant, who were vocal coaches on Pop Idol and Fame Academy.
