Hollyoaks star David Tag has revealed that he is in the early stages of talks to participate in the next season of Celebrity Big Brother. The iconic reality show, which will be returning next year, has already begun casting for its upcoming season. David, best known for playing Sylver McQueen on the Channel 4 soap, expressed his interest in entering the famous Big Brother house if the financial offer is right. He mentioned that this season of the show was particularly good, which is why he is considering the opportunity.
Tempted by the Money
When asked if his decision depends on the amount of money offered, David responded, "Yeah, exactly." It seems that the financial aspect will play a significant role in his decision-making process.
The Next Step in His Career
David's character on Hollyoaks, Sylver, was tragically crushed to death while attempting to save Mercedes's son Bobby. Since leaving the show, David has had a few minor roles but has teased an exciting project for next year that he considers to be "the next step" in his career.
Busy Festive Season
In the meantime, David will be occupied during the holiday season. He will be playing the role of the villain Fleshcreep in Jack and the Beanstalk at Rochdale's Middleton Arena. However, this year he has opted for a shorter panto run in order to spend more time with his family. David explained, "The fact that now that I have two small children, I just thought I'll just do a shorter stint this year, and then at least, I can be here for most of Christmas and then be able to help out and enjoy it a bit more with my family."
