HOLLYOAKS hunk Owen Warner has a secret plan to win a legion of fans in I’m A Celebrity.
The actor – who plays Romeo Nightingale in the Channel 4 soap – arrived in Australia today for the new series of the jungle reality show and according to a pal he’s got a cunning ploy to snatch the crown.
Owen arrived down under today and is set to enter the I’m A Celeb jungle
He is planning on using his gym-honed body to win votes
Fellow Hollyoaks star and former I’m A Celeber Malique Thompson-Dwyer has told what Owen’s planning – to strip off for votes.
Malique, 24, who took part in I’m A Celeb back in 2018, said: “Owen knows exactly what he’s doing in that jungle.
“He’s smart and funny, he’ll go in and suss it all out.
“He gets on with everyone and is really easy going, everyone is going to love him in camp.
“And you know he knows what he’s got to do in the shower. He’s going to spend most of his time in there showing off his body.
“He’ll be washing his chest all day long, to help with those votes.”
Malique added: “We’re all really excited for him and can’t wait for the show to start.
“He’s a really popular member of the Hollyoaks cast and could well win the whole thing. We’re all going to be cheering him on and maybe voting for him to do a few of the tasks.”
Meanwhile Owen has revealed he is now single – and looking for love in the jungle.
The cheery star remarked as he walked through arrivals at Brisbane airport: “I’m single and looking for love.”
Owen plays Romeo Nightingale on Hollyoaks and previously dated co-star Stephanie Davis.

Things between the two were reportedly serious and they even sparked engagement rumours, with Stephaine saying her son, Caben-Albi, had started to call him “daddy”.
But the “full-on” nature of their relationship proved too much and they decided to split in September 2019 – prompting Stephanie to quit the Channel 4 soap.
