CORONATION Street’s Hope Stape becomes a green-eyed monster over Sam and Eliza’s budding friendship next week.
Upcoming scenes on the ITV soap will see Eliza and Stu return from a meeting at Weatherfield High about Eliza starting school there.

Hope is overcome with jealousy over Sam and Eliza’s budding friendship
A loved-up Sam and Hope approach the newcomer and Sam invites Eliza to join them for tea at No.9.Â
But Sam’s invitation causes a jealous Hope to shoot Eliza daggers.
At No.9, Hope performs some karaoke numbers and Fiz, Tyrone, Sam and Eliza dutifully applaud.
But, when Sam offers to teach Eliza to play chess, Hope is furious.
Later in the week, Stu receives an email confirming that Eliza can start at Weatherfield High after half-term.
Yameen suggests they organise a birthday party for her and Eliza’s delighted by the idea.
Stu tells Tyrone about their party plans and wonders if Hope could come up with a list of school friends to invite as Eliza has yet to meet the other kids.Â
Will Hope help Eliza settle in to her new school and make friends?
Or will she plan something devious out of jealousy?
Also next week, Paul feels guilty knowing that Billy has paid off his loan and will never be able to pay him back.
After reading about Rufus’ death in the Gazette, Damon orders Paul to dispose of Rufus’ car.
Paul sets off in Rufus’ car intending to dispose of it.
However, because of his clumsy left hand, he swerves across the road.
And his heart sinks as a police car approaches.Â
Can he explain his situation without incriminating himself to the police?
