EastEnders’ Lucy Benjamin has given fans a rare look inside her amazing home as she celebrates her 50th birthday.

The actress took to Twitter to post her lush pad which has been beautifully decorated for her special day.

The former soap star, who left the BBC soap earlier this year, couldn’t contain her excitement as she posted: “Can’t say I’m thrilled about being 50 but gonna make the most of it today! Paaaaarrrrttttttyyyy!”

Some of friends sent their birthday wishes as another Albert Square Lorraine Stanley, who plays plays Karen Taylor commented: “Happy birthday lovely lady!! You share it with my partner, both wonderful people ,much love xxxxx”

Another ex Enders star Gary Webster tweeted: “Life begins at…50, Have a great day Ms Benjamin. Enjoy everything about having made it to 50 and everything that life holds in the future. ‘Carpe Diem’ and best to you and the family x”

 Lucy gave fans a glimpse of her conservatory which has been transformed into the ultimate party room.

There are balloons galore as Lucy has opted for a white and grey theme.

In the centre of the room lies a giant number 50, and each figure filled with balloons.

Behind the numbers sits a bouquet of birthday balloons, which included one giant balloon with the words “Lucy 50” written on the front.

You can see her impressive garden in the background which is surrounded by lots of greenery.

Lucy, who starred in EastEnders as Lisa Fowler, was last seen on the soap in January of this year, when she was she left the square with daughter Louise Mitchell.

They fled to Portugal to save Louise from a life in Prison in EastEnders.

Louise, mum to Peggy Taylor, was consumed by her guilt at luring ex and father to her child Keanu to his death and was suffering from a breakdown.

But with Louise on the edge, Lisa tells Phil she is taking their daughter to live in Portugal and he goes with them, before making his return to the square years later.
