EASTENDERS star Louisa Lytton has revealed her incredible nursery for newborn daughter Aura after introducing her to the world earlier this week.

The 32-year-old actress and fiance Ben Bhanvra welcomed baby Aura last month, and she has now revealed that designing her daughter’s room was “a dream”.

Sharing snaps of the finished nursery to her Instagram page, the new mum wrote: “Designing and decorating Aura’s nursery was a dream, it’s my favourite room ever. It feels peaceful even when she screams 😉

“The wallpaper is @grahamandbrown it’s a mural and we matched it to @lick white 03 for the walls and then decided to paint the woodwork. Obviously the carpet and walls will be ruined once the crayons come out 🤣 so for now I’ll enjoy it 🥰

Louisa had previously shared a glimpse at the quirky wallpaper they’d chosen, with four large hot air balloon displays dominating the back wall.

The white cot is draped with a striped blanket in neutral tones, as well as one with Aura’s name embroidered across it.

The brown lampshade has a white bird hanging from it, and a cosy white arm chair rests in one corner – complete with an attention-grabbing pillow with a large eye design.

Above the white dresser and changing station is simple shelves, with a selection of stuffed animals and books – including one called Daddy’s Girl.

Bricks in shades of red, pink, and mustard yellow spell out Aura’s name, and a mobile adorned with bunny rabbits hangs above the crib.

There is also a French window mirror beside a small bookcase, which is already full of books for the newborn to enjoy as she grows up.

Earlier this week, Louisa spoke about her difficult birth as she appeared on Loose Women with her little girl.

The TV favourite revealed that after a “long labour” she was forced to have an emergency C-section, and just as she was recovering from that she and Ben tested positive for Covid.

Louisa went on: “So it’s not been the best start, but she’s been fine throughout, so that’s all we can ask for really.

“Because we got Covid so soon after having her, we’ve had hardly any visitors yet, which is a shame, but everyone [from EastEnders] has been in touch and I’ve been sending photos.

“Now the doors are open, I’m sure people will be coming to visit, which will be really nice.”

And discussing how she has adapted to motherhood, Louisa told the Loose ladies: “I just don’t think anything prepares you. I read every book, I spoke to every friend and she’s the best thing that’s ever happened to us, but it is tough.

“Ben’s been amazing. Even throughout the labour, I was so fortunate to have them there. Obviously there’s been a time where women had to do that on their own, which is horrendous, but since we’ve had her, I am feeding, so that’s pretty much the only thing he can’t help out with – everything else, he’s been amazing. He’s a very hands on dad.”

Louisa and Ben hope to get married next year after being forced to postpone their 2020 nuptials due to the pandemic.

The star shot to fame playing ruthless Ruby Allen in EastEnders, with her character’s final scenes airing last month as she went on maternity leave.
