The soap star, who is best known for playing Nancy Hayton in Hollyoaks, posted the nursery tour to her Instagram.

The nursery boasted shelves with countless toys

Jessica, 39, filmed the new space that boasted sage green walls, white furniture and a light and airy feel.

The clip was paired with the song Here Comes HOAR by The Beatles, which perfectly reflected the uplifting vibes of the room.

Jessica’s nursery was decorated with a variety of adorable features, including a hot air balloon hanging, a mural in the shape of bears and a sun, moon and stars baby mobile hung over the cot.

The nursery also had a comfortable nursing chair, scattered with a soft throw and cushions in the shape of leaves.

Jessica spared no effort in making sure the nursery was fit for her baby, trimming the space with bunting, soft toys and books.

In the caption of the clip, she wrote: “I have shared this on our home page @fixingupthefoxden – but I’m just so chuffed I wanted to share it here too!

“The Nursery. The only room in the house to be actually finished which is hilarious when I know baby will not be sleeping in here for the first 6 months but nesting is a real thing!

“Completely thrilled with everything, we wanted to strike the balance of baby friendly, fun, calm, somewhere baby can grow and keeping in line with our aesthetic.”

The star announced her pregnancy in October, after previously opening up about going through heartbreaking baby loss.

In the announcement, Jessica posed alongside her husband Nicholas Willes and detailed in the caption her fertility journey.

She explained: “Nick and I have been on a rocky road to get to this point,”

“Miscarriage is awful, there is no other word for it.”

She went on to say: “It robs you of the future you had planned, your faith in your body, it’s isolating, lonely, frightening and nobody seems to talk about it.”

Jessica continued: “Nick and I lost two babies in 2021. Both losses were at the end of the first trimester and completely heartbreaking.”

The star went on to conclude: “At 20 weeks, our baby is healthy and growing.

“Out of difficulties, grow miracles. Due spring 2023.”
