ITV has announced a huge Christmas TV shake-up – with Coronation Street and Emmerdale specials like never before.
The channel has prepared plenty of festive treats for people to feast on this Christmas, and this year, they will be able to get their helpings much sooner than in previous years.
ITV plans to make its Christmas period shows available on ITV Hub each morning, ahead of their evening broadcast.
Whether it’s the feature length Christmas special of The Larkins or the Christmas Day episodes of Coronation Street and Emmerdale, viewers won’t have to wait, as they will be able to stream these shows at their own convenience through ITV Hub from the morning they are due to air.
Both Coronation Street and Emmerdale will have big festive episodes on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Bradley Walsh fans will get multiple helpings of the TV star too this Christmas, with a festive edition of The Larkins on Christmas Day as well as The Chase on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day.
Christmas Eve will also see Bradley, 61, reunite with his son Barney for Bradley and Barney: Breaking Dad at Christmas.
Other quiz shows that will be available on the morning of their broadcast includes Tipping Point: Lucky Stars Christmas Special on Christmas Eve and Celebrity Catchphrase: Christmas Special on Boxing Day.
Other ITV favourites will be popping up over the key dates as well, with Gino’s Italian Family Adventure: A Festive Feast on Christmas Eve, Paul O Grady: For The Love of Dogs at Christmas, Saturday Night Takeaway Presents: Double Trouble and Billy Connolly: My Absolute Pleasure, both on Boxing Day.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the ITV schedule also includes Christmas Comedy Club with Lost Voice Guy on Christmas Eve, The Masked Singalong on Christmas Day and All Star Musicals at Christmas on Boxing Day.
