KATIE McGlynn was spotted looking devastated as she left the Strictly Come Dancing studios after she was voted off the show.

The Coronation Street actress appeared downcast as she bundled into the back of a cab following the tense dance off on Sunday night.

Her professional partner Gorka lookeed equally upset

Katie, 28, kept her eyes down and locked on her phone screen as the cameras snapped around her car as she was driven home.

She was still wearing her dramatic make-up from her themed dance, which was based on iconic Disney villain Cruella De Vil.

The actress had swapped her sparkling red gown and black and white wig for a hoodie, leggings and a puffer jacket, pulling her hair into a ponytail.

Meanwhile, professional dance partner Gorka Marquez was seen getting into a separate car, looking equally upset at his departure from the show.

Keeping a frown firmly fixed to his face, Gorka, 31, donned a bright blue tracksuit as he too kept his gaze to the floor and away from the cameras.

Last night, Katie became the second star eliminated from Strictly after landing in the dance-off for the second week in a row.

This time, the former Coronation Street actress was up again Loose Women star Judi Love.

Judges Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse chose to save Judi, while Anton Du Beke opted for Katie, leaving Shirley Ballas with the final decision.

Fans were left devastated when Shirley opted to save Judi – meaning that Katie would leave the show after just a fortnight on the floor.

Taking to Twitter, one fan raged: “That is a shame. Neither Judi nor Katie deserve to be in the dance off. This is meant to be a dance contest, not a popularity one, but every year it clearly is!”

Another complained: “What a load of crap Dan should be in the dance off. Judi & Katie both deserve to stay on the show.”

A third agreed: “Katie shouldn’t have gone, neither should’ve been in the dance off. It’s a shame.”

Katie and professional partner Gorka Marquez were also in the bottom two last week, with the judges choosing to send Nina Wadia home instead.

But her luck ran out this week, with Judi and Graziano Di Prima surviving to dance another day after impressing with their Charleston to When You’re Good To Mama from Chicago.

Meanwhile, Katie and Gorka had been at the centre of feud rumours for the past week – with fans claiming they’d spotted “tension” between them.

Viewers noted that Spanish star Gorka looked glum in posts made by the soap actress before last week’s live show as they prepared for their second dance.

It came after the pair appeared to have disagreed over the amount of time that Hollyoaks star Katie spent rehearsing as she skipped dancing for filming.
