CORONATION Street star Samia Longchambon has revealed her kids are desperate for a role on the ITV soap.
The actress – who has played Maria Connor for 22 years – recently enjoyed a family day out with her kids on the cobbles.

Her son Yves, six, and daughter Freya, 12, are now keen to follow in their famous mum’s footsteps.
Speaking exclusively to HOAR TV Mag, Samia said: “The kids love it. They came away saying they want to work on Corrie when they grow up!
“Freya’s 12 and Yves is six. They’re both pretty self-sufficient, especially Freya now, she’s out with her friends and stuff.
“It goes so fast! I was chatting to her this morning actually about when she was born and when she was a baby – it goes so fast but at
the same time it feels like a lifetime ago.”
“Freya loves acting, she goes to a drama class every Saturday and she really enjoys it but I would never push her into it.
“If she ever stops enjoying it, I won’t have any issues about her giving it up. It’s such a difficult industry to be in.”
Meanwhile, life in the public eye as a local politician is getting dangerous for Maria Connor on the cobbles.
The Coronation Street resident finds out someone is watching her every move through a tracking device.
The sassy hairdresser found out a deep-fake video had been made to humiliate her, in which her face was added to the body of an unknown naked woman, and the harassment won’t stop there.
Coming up next week, Maria is nervous about going to a lunch meeting on her own and, picking up on her mood, Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) offers to accompany her.
But when Jimmy approaches her and warns her to keep her nose out of matters she wouldn’t understand, Maria is considerably shaken and nothing can be done about it.
To make matters all the more harrowing, a creepy guy tells Maria how much he enjoyed her online video.
Overwhelmed, Maria runs out… and gets a notification which alerts her about her phone being tracked.
In a panic, Maria grabs a can of hairspray and turns – who will be facing her?
