PADDY Dingle’s marriage with Chas is on the rocks after her affair with Al Chapman was finally exposed.
Things take a turn for him next week in Emmerdale as he’s involved in a drug overdose horror.

Chas Dingle snuck around for months with Al Chapman after finding out her mother was battling cancer.
The businessman was shot dead by Kyle Winchester, taking their illicit romance to the grave.
Unfortunately for the Woolpack bar manager, secrets can never remain hidden in the Dales and the affair was eventually exposed to her husband Paddy (portrayed by Dominic Brunt).
As it was to be expected, he’s heartbroken and his anger with Chas (Lucy Pargeter) knows no limits.
But to protect their daughter Eve from the fallout, they both agree to a ceasefire.
Coming up on ITV, however, it becomes clear that Paddy is really struggling with the knowledge that his wife is a cheat.
Stress levels rise for him when he accidentally gives Vinny Dingle’s dog an overdose of sedative.
Overwhelmed, Paddy sits hopelessly in his car and tears begin to fall.
And while many fans of the Yorkshire-based soap may have become frustrated with her, Chas will be just as affected by the ordeal.
When she tries to find solace in the closed and empty Woolpack, she’s mortified to find Paddy and Eve with Marlon’s family in full Christmas swing.
Feeling awkward and isolated, she quietly leaves the pub and heads to the graveyard Faith’s firework in tow.
Chas is alone, missing her daughter and mother, when a stranger soon approaches her with some shocking revelation.
What could it be?
As mentioned above, Chas and Al had a secret love affair which lasted several months but was cut short just as they were planning on leaving the Dales together.
Al was confronted about the affair by his long-term foe (and Chas’ brother) Cain Dingle before Kyle got involved and shot him to protect his father.
Many fans couldn’t wait for Chas to be exposed alongside Al as her actions grew increasingly unforgivable.
A handful of them even asked soap bosses to bring Paddy and Mandy back together.
What’s in store for Paddy?
