ARE you crazy for Coronation Street? Do you dabble with a dabber? If you think that you can call what’s going to happen next in this ITV soap opera, it’s time to make a Corrie bingo card and find out if you really know the cobbles as well as you think.

Since 1960, ITV has been entertaining viewers with the dramatic lives of the residents of Coronation Street.

To date, there have been over 10,605 episodes. In that time, the street has witnessed over: 50 births, 130 weddings and 150 deaths.

While the many going ons on the cobbled street in Weatherfield have changed over the years, there are some storylines, plot twists and character actions that avid viewers can predict.

This means one thing…time to craft some bingo cards and start a game of play-along Corrie bingo!

How to play

To whip up a game of play-along Corrie Bingo, you’ll need:

  • A piece of paper with a 3 x 3 grid drawn onto it.
  • A dabber (prove you’re top of the class by using a Coronation Street-themed dabber).
  • A group of fellow Coronation Street fans.
  • Snacks and drinks (to make this play-along game a real party!).

Pick eight potential plotlines. Write them down on your bingo card, leaving the middle square blank.

In the blank square, note your bingo name – there’s a bonus point for the most creative Corrie-inspired name (eg, “Gary I’m Going To Win-Dass” or “Izzy, whizzy, let’s Fiz-zy”).

HOW TO PLAY FRUITY BURST – ONE OF SUN BINGO’S TOP SLOTS

If one of your selected plotlines happens in the show, mark it off your card with your dabber.

If you want to have multiple winners, you can award a prize for 1L and 2L (which is when a prize is given to the first player to mark off one complete line, and two complete lines).

However, if there’s only room for one on the throne, the Corrie King or Queen will be the first to get a full house (when all plotlines on your card have been marked off).

This game could be played over one episode (and the winner is the player with the most squares marked off) or your bingo game could play out over multiple episodes, until a full house winner is crowned.
