TIME is finally up for one Coronation Street resident and their secret this Christmas.
Fans of the ITV soap opera have seen Summer Spellman rattle with the decision to keep her miscarriage a secret from the baby’s potential parents Esther and Mike.
Summer and Aaron are forced to reveal the truth
The pair face a big dilemma
Being forced to pretend as though she is still expecting the baby in order to secure some more cash from the pair in order to foot Aaron’s dad’s rehab bill, Summer is forced to attend a baby scan.
In upcoming scenes on the cobbles, Mike and Esther insist on dropping Summer and Aaron off at the scan themselves.
They eventually agree to wait outside however as Summer and Aaron play around for time inside the hospital they are stunned when Mike appears and insists that he attends the scan with Summer as a result of them pretending he is the biological father.
Realising that time may have finally caught up with them, the young lovers prepare to finally cave and tell Mike the truth.
Upon telling them the truth, Summer and Aaron scramble to come up with a plan in order to pay Esther and Mike the £10,000 back.
Summer gets Paul, Billy and Todd together and tells the trio that she and Aaron are planning to up sticks and head off travelling and need £10,000 in order to do so.
Sceptical, they grill Summer on her plans to determine whether she is telling the truth.
However, Mike and Esther soon offer Summer and Aaron a huge lifeline.
The desperate couple tell the pair that they will write off the £10,000 if they agree to be a surrogate couple and Summer carry their child.
They even offer to pay them even more cash than they have already given them.
